This afternoon’s blog is a spin on our usual primary science club focus as we’re joined by Maryanne Murphy, Leanne Tivendale and Hannah Nicholls who make up the incredible team at Bloclair School, East Dunbarton where they run their Junior Science Club together.
For the last three years, they’ve been enriching their science provision beyond science lessons where pupils are encouraged to suggest ideas. topics and experiments that they want to explore each week. The team at Bloclair work hard to make the club as inclusive as possible to nurture inquisitive minds and ensuring the club is accessible to anyone who wants to come along.
Whilst our My Science Club materials are generally for pupils in the primary phase of learning, we know that our Upper Primary packs are brilliant transition materials and work really well in early secondary too! Click here to find out more about our secondary packs.
If you know people like Maryanne, Leanne and Hannah who go the EXTRA mile for your school’s EXTRA-curricular club schedule, then tag them on one of our social media posts this week or nominate them via email to hello@myscienceclub.com before midnight (GMT) on 8th December 2023 and they will be entered to win a full 12 month membership of My Science Club for your school! Or, if you sign up to our newsletter before midnight on 10th December, you will also be in the hat to win a membership too! Click here for newsletter sign up
Look forward to sharing and hearing from you all this week
