It’s that exciting time of year again when we start preparations for another inspiring British Science Week. Here at My Science Club we’ve been busy creating a brand-new resource to support you get the most out of your BSW25.
British Science Week 2025 runs from the 7th – 14th March and the theme this year is Change and Adapt – which seems appropriate as the celebration of science enters its third decade. You can find out more here.
We wanted to create an activity that would let you explore ecosystem changes in a really hands on way, and an activity that would work at all ages from 3 – 99 (and beyond). Building a terrarium is such an inspiring way to learn about what an ecosystem needs to thrive and how plants change and adapt as they grow.
Our terrariums are simple to build, following our step-by-step instructions, and can be used as the starting point to lots of different investigations that will interest and engage older children.
