World Space Week is here again and is celebrated annually from 4th – 10th October. As always, there’s plenty of brilliant resources and ideas out there to give space a lift in your school.

Earth Science Packs:
We have a whole section of science clubs on our website dedicated to this curious topic. You’ll find them under the Earth Science filter in our packs section.

FREE Space Week Quiz:
Our annual space quiz is back with a brand-new look! Once again, we have partnered with SmartSTEMs for a live quiz which you can sign up for your class to join on 5th October 2026 at 1.45 – 2.45pm. Come and join 100s of primary school pupils across the UK at our FREE Space quiz. Open to all UK Primary Schools, this quiz is aimed at Year 4 – 6 (England and Wales) and Primary 5 – 7 (Scotland and NI).

Moon Calendar 2027:
Our popular moon calendar will be back for 2027 and ready to download in time for Space Week 2206. In the meantime, take advantage of the last 3 months of 2026 with a FREE download by clicking here.
If you see us at any in person events in the coming months, we will have a small number of glossy A3 copies to give away too!
Members will get the full version of the moon calendar for free in their members area and non-members can purchase the download for just £1 on our TES shop. Check back for 2027 moon calendar in October.

FREE Space Staff Meeting:
Bryony Turford, in her role as ESERO UK Space Consultant, will be hosting a live CPD event focusing on Working Scientifically with space as a context. She’ll be supporting the wider science curriculum (not Y5 space) and looking at how practical activity can maintain purpose and focus within science lessons. Why not bring your whole staff team along for a free staff meeting? Session takes place on 24th September 2026 3.45 – 4.45pm
